·      Type: Magazine Print Ad ( Ongoing Character or Celebrity )

·      Benefit highlighted: The Dior Star print ad used Natalie Portman as the product ambassador. The reason why Natalie Portman was picked as the ambassador is because she has a flawless skin, and by using the Dior Star foundation, it implies in a way that the consumer can have the perfect, and weightless skin like her by just using the foundation. Besides, using the foundation can also neutralized color imbalances and delivers a long lasting skin texture.

·      Ad’s appeal: The ad also appeal emotional attached to the consumer because using a celebrity in the ad can create an image about the product. Moreover, the ad also appeal pride to consumer because Dior is a designer's brand, when the consumer uses the foundation, they will feel proud because they are using branded products.

·      What I like about the ad: What I like about the ad is the portrait of Natalie Portman. It really shows her beauty, with just a little bit of make up and it really sells the product.The whole make up on Natalie's face did not over take the main selling point of the ad, the foundation. The ad is also very straight forward with the whole images and also the body copy of the texts, it is easy to understand even with some biological terms in it.
